REYNIER MOLENAAR is an international award-winning filmmaker based in Southern California. Some of his recent clients include Warner Bros., TNT, TBS, Fox Broadcasting, Current TV, and Fox Searchlight Pictures, where he's produced original content for Danny Boyle's SUNSHINE, Timur Bekmambetov's DAY WATCH, Chris Rock's I THINK I LOVE MY WIFE, YOUNG @ HEART, NOTES ON A SCANDAL, THE HISTORY BOYS, THE NAMESAKE, and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, among many others. Reynier has helmed commercials for Converse, Dove, The Alliance For Climate Control, Warner Bros.Õs HEÕS JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU (directing Ginnifer Goodwin and Justin Long), and Richard Linklater's FAST FOOD NATION, to name a few. His work has been featured in CINEPLEXED, NOTCOT and BOARDS MAGAZINE. Reynier has written and directed a number of short films, including JOHNNY MOMENT, ADAM & EVETTE and most recently, REPLAY, which has won 5 awards, screened at 16 festivals and premiered on television through PBS. Born in New York City, Reynier started out as a child actor (formerly represented by the J. Michael Bloom Agency), appearing in off-Broadway productions of WOMEN AND WALLACE and EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK, KRS-One's groundbreaking music video, MY PHILOSOPHY, and small roles in film and television, including Ela Troyano's LATIN BOYS GO TO HELL and MTV's APARTMENT 2F. After studying at the Professional Performing Arts School, and later, CalArts, Reynier began writing, directing and producing movies. Reynier also enjoys still photography, animation, and graphic design, for which he has won the Flashloaded, Design Firms and CHP awards. He lives in Venice Beach, California.
